The second day of Rock in Rio presented a significant weather change compared to the festival's opening. While the first day was marked by intense heat, with temperatures reaching 34°C, Saturday (5) brought rain and unstable weather to the City of Rock, completely changing the scenario of the edition.
The change in weather conditions directly impacted the operation of some of the entertainment attractions available at the festival. The rides scattered throughout the space were temporarily stopped due to bad weather, preventing the audience from enjoying these activities beyond the musical shows.
According to staff at the venue, the zip line had its operation compromised not only by rain but also by wind. The Ferris wheel followed the same safety protocol, being halted as soon as it started raining and only resuming operation after the rain stopped.
