"The political project of the PSD in Ponte de Lima is better than that of the CDS"

The PSD of Ponte de Lima is already preparing for the 2029 local elections. The party held its rentrée this Saturday in Rebordões Santa Maria, an initiative that featured the presence of general secretary Hugo Soares and other figures linked to the social-democratic structure.

The president of the local branch of the PSD in Ponte de Lima, Pedro Salvador, announced the main objective: to win the Municipal Council. To achieve this, the party intends to present its own candidates in all parishes of the municipality, something that did not happen in the last elections, when only 20 candidates were presented for the Parish Councils.

Pedro Salvador emphasized that the PSD has a vision for the municipality very different from that advocated by the CDS, which currently governs the municipality. This position was reinforced by Hugo Soares, who stated that he is absolutely convinced that the political project of the PSD is better than that presented by the CDS in the case of Ponte de Lima.
