Flamengo made official the temporary transfer of right-back Gusttavo to Estoril, a Portuguese team from the Linha de Cascais area. The loan of the young defender ends at the end of the current season.
The agreement between the two clubs includes a purchase option set at one million euros, which Estoril may exercise at the end of the loan period. This clause allows the Portuguese side to keep the player permanently if they choose to do so.
Gusttavo, who had already been playing for Flamengo, will now have the opportunity to play regularly in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, benefiting from more playing time than he would probably get at the Brazilian club, where competition for the position is high.
