The Rovisco Pais Rehabilitation Center will become a national reference center for sports practice for people with disabilities. The intention was announced today in Tocha, in Cantanhede, by Pedro Dias, Secretary of State for Sports.
The decision was made at the closing of the first Young Paralympic Camp, which took place in that municipality. This measure aims to strengthen support for adapted sports practice in Portugal.
The Rovisco Pais Center, located in Tocha, already has the infrastructure and know-how to accommodate this national reference function, contributing to the development of sports for people with disabilities in the country.
