Central Pedro Silva signs for GD Chaves

Pedro Silva, 21-year-old centre-back from Vila Real, has signed for Grupo Desportivo de Chaves. The young player began his career at SC de Vila Real before joining the Academy in Alcochete to represent Sporting Clube de Portugal.

After his spell at Sporting, Pedro Silva represented other clubs such as Estrela da Amadora and Mafra, accumulating experience in Portuguese professional football.

Upon his arrival at GD Chaves, the centre-back expressed his intention to show all his value in the defensive axis of the Trás-os-Montes team this season.

On social media, GD Chaves announced the signing as "another bet on a young talent from our region, from Vila Real, taking another important step in his journey as a player".
