A virtual reality experience called 'Smithsonian Journey Through the Cosmos' will be available at Terreiro do Paço from the 17th. The experience was developed in collaboration with the American research center Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory.

The immersive experience allows visitors to explore topics such as the birth of stars, black holes, and the Milky Way, offering a journey through the cosmos through virtual reality technology.

The event represents a partnership between international scientific institutions and the Terreiro do Paço space, which thus hosts an educational and technological exhibition about astronomy and space exploration.

A 2025 study by archaeologist Amílcar Guerra proposes that the stelae may be more related to the Celtic peoples than to the Cynetes, based on material culture and funerary contexts. The Southwestern script, one of the oldest on the Peninsula and still undeciphered, continues to be one of the greatest archaeological mysteries, with approximately 90% of the inscriptions discovered in Portuguese territory.
