Serbian government members, military and family members participated in a ceremony in Belgrade to honor war criminal Ratko Mladić. The event took place today and brought together official representatives of the Serbian executive, military forces and family members of Mladić.

Ratko Mladić was convicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia for war crimes and crimes against humanity. His actions during the conflicts in Bosnia have been widely documented and condemned by the international community.

The ceremony took place two days before Mladić's burial in the Serbian capital. The funeral generated international controversy, with criticism from human rights organizations and foreign governments that consider the homage a glorification of war crimes.

US attacks three Iranian oil tankers after an attack on US warships

The United States Army attacked three Iranian oil tankers on Saturday in retaliation for ballistic missile launches by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) against two American warships patrolling the region.
