The transport interface at Campanhã is identified as the most important in the city of Porto, but simultaneously as the worst in terms of quality, according to an assessment carried out under the municipality's Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS).
The information was consulted by the news agency Lusima along with the PMUS document. The municipal plan identifies Campanhã as the main point of interconnection for transport in the city.
The assessment contained in the PMUS highlights the contradiction between the strategic importance of the Campanhã interface, which serves as a central node for transport connections, and its current state, considered inadequate.
The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan is a municipal planning document that evaluates and defines strategies for mobility in the city of Porto.
