Casa do Povo de Fermentões Promotes the Farmer's Festival This Weekend

The Casa do Povo de Fermentões promotes the Farmer's Festival this weekend, an event that includes various activities throughout Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, at 3:30 PM, the "passo travado" horse race takes place, and in the evening, at 9:30 PM, the Folklore Festival is held in Largo da Casa do Povo.

The folklore festival lineup features the participation of four groups: the Folklore Group of Casa do Povo de Fermentões, the Folklore Group of Benfica do Ribatejo, from Almeirim, the Dance and Song Group of Vale Domingos, from Águeda, and the Typical Rusga da Correlhã.

On Sunday, the morning is reserved for the tribute mass at 9:45 AM. The highlight of the festival takes place at 3:30 PM with the Ethnographic Parade, which departs from Alameda Alfredo Pimenta and proceeds to Fermentões.

The closing of the Farmer's Festival is scheduled for 5:00 PM on Sunday, with an accordion gathering. The event is reported by the Mais Guimarães portal.
