The president of the Superior Electoral Court, Minister Nunes Marques, encouraged voters to bring a paper "cheat sheet" with candidates' numbers during the October elections. The statement was made during the "Caminho do Voto" (Path of the Vote) event, held by the Regional Electoral Court of Rio de Janeiro on the Copacabana boardwalk.

The event aimed to present how electronic voting machines work and encourage public participation in elections. Nunes Marques briefly participated in the activity, which was led by the TRE-RJ president, Claudio de Mello Tavares. During the occasion, the TSE president also defended confidence in the electronic voting machines.

According to the TRE-RJ president, the initiative to bring the "cheat sheet" is mainly aimed at voters over 70 years old, who are not required to vote. Claudio de Mello Tavares also highlighted the importance of voters checking in advance whether their voting location remains the same.

During the event, the public was able to practice voting in a simulation with an electronic voting machine.
