Two children injured in spectacular crash on A3 in Famalicão

Two children were injured following a spectacular crash on the A3 Motorway, in the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão. The accident occurred when the vehicle they were traveling in left the road.

The children's father, who was driving the vehicle, reportedly fell asleep at the wheel, losing control of the car. The automobile left the motorway and fell onto the side embankment.

The vehicle only stopped when it crashed into a concrete structure located in the area next to the road. The impact caused injuries to the two children.

Authorities were dispatched to the scene of the accident, and the injured received assistance at the location before being transported to receive medical care.
