Montenegro had left criticisms of the media during his speech at the 50th Festa do Pontal, which is the traditional 'back-to-school' event of the PSD.
In his speech, Luís Montenegro criticized what he considered to be "a kind of modern censorship", expressing discomfort with the way the media have been covering political and governmental activity.
