Donald Trump's special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, arrived in Moscow with a plan to end the war in Ukraine. This visit to the Russian capital is part of the Trump administration's diplomatic efforts to mediate a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.

After the trip to Moscow, the two special envoys are expected to travel to the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, for the first time. This will be the first time Witkoff and Kushner visit Ukraine in the context of these negotiations.

The visit to Moscow represents a significant moment in the attempts to achieve a ceasefire, allowing Trump's representatives to present the peace plan directly to Russian leadership. The main objective of these trips is to secure an agreement that ends the conflict that has been ongoing for several years.
