A group of Swiss tourists experienced a highly tense moment during a jeep ride in Tanzania. The driver lost control of the vehicle, which began advancing toward the Mara River, a river infested with alligators. The incident happened on Sunday afternoon (30) in the Kogatende area, inside Serengeti National Park.
The tourists were participating in a tour to observe wildlife up close. The group was following the Great Migration, a natural phenomenon in which approximately 2 million gazelles, wildebeest and zebras cross the river facing the waters and the danger posed by hundreds of crocodiles. The event is considered the largest movement of terrestrial mammals in the world.
