Anthropic is close to choosing Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs to lead its initial public offering, according to the Financial Times. The company may file its prospectus as early as next week, although the timeline may still change.
Morgan Stanley is expected to lead the operation and the discussions about the company's valuation, while Goldman Sachs is set to take on the role of share stabilization agent during the first trading sessions. JPMorgan, Citigroup and Barclays are also expected to play relevant roles in the offering.
Anthropic investors anticipate a stock market debut with a valuation of at least two billion dollars. The roadshow is expected to take place in late September, with the New York debut planned for the end of that month or early October.
