Venezuela claims to have been targeted by sabotage of its electrical system after oil agreements signed with the United States. The megaproject agreed with the USA has a duration of 25 years and provides for the development of 17 oil fields with a total of 65 billion barrels. The production target set in the agreement exceeds 1.5 million barrels per day. The Venezuelan government links the failures in electricity supply to sabotage actions, which reportedly occurred in the context of these oil agreements with Washington.
