PSP and GNR carried out a total of 1,112 detentions during their respective operational periods carried out in recent days across the national territory. The security forces intensified patrols throughout the country during this period.
PSP recorded 980 traffic accidents during its operational activity, of which three deaths resulted. In total, the security forces identified more than 13,000 road infractions.
The operations involved both security forces across the Portuguese continental territory, focusing on road patrols and crime prevention.
