The suspect who fatally shot a young taxi driver in Azpeitia, in the Basque province of Gipuzkoa, was arrested by the Ertzaintza after surrendering this early morning at a police station in the Biscayan town of Ondarroa. The information was confirmed by the Basque Government's Department of Security.

The crime occurred in the city of Azpeitia, located in the Urola-Kosta region of Gipuzkoa. The victim was a young taxi driver who was shot dead, according to what was reported by the authorities.
