A motorcyclist died following a crash on the national road EN101, in the municipality of Monção.

The man was considered seriously injured and transported to the Basic Emergency Service of Monção.

Despite the medical care provided, death was ultimately declared at the health unit.

The competent authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
