Valencian businessman Juan Roig, president of Mercadona, inaugurated the third building of his entrepreneurial ecosystem Marina de Empresas, located in Valencia's port, on the shores of the Mediterranean. The new infrastructure has 7,600 square meters and capacity to accommodate approximately 1,000 people.

The construction works lasted 18 months and represented an investment of approximately 25 million euros, an amount that was entirely covered by Juan Roig's personal wealth, according to the entity.

With this expansion, the Marina de Empresas complex, which includes the business school Edem, the accelerator Lanzadera, and the investment vehicle Angels, now spans approximately 27,000 square meters of total area.

The cumulative contribution of the businessman from Valencia in the complex already exceeds 70 million euros, consolidating this project as one of the main entrepreneurship support initiatives in the region.
