Flores and Corvo under yellow warning due to rain

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) issued a yellow warning for the islands of Flores and Corvo, both belonging to the western group of the Azores.

The warning is due to sometimes heavy precipitation, which may be accompanied by thunder.

The warning takes effect at 9pm on Saturday, local time, which corresponds to one additional hour in Lisbon, remaining in effect until 9am on Sunday.
