The American company Tetris denied on Friday having participated in the creation of a video game released by the White House to build a border wall, which simulates the mechanic of its popular game, and warned of possible legal action.
The video game, called "Build the Wall," was released by the White House and uses a mechanic similar to Tetris, where players need to build a barrier to prevent people from crossing.
The Tetris Company, which holds the rights to the original game, came forward to clarify that it had no involvement in the development of the White House video game and threatened to take legal measures against the unauthorized use of its intellectual property.
This incident arises in the context of the political debate over the construction of a wall on the border between the United States and Mexico, one of the main campaign promises of the US President.
