Fuel prices with sharp increase

From Monday, fuel prices in Portugal will suffer a sharp increase. Diesel will become more expensive by ten and a half cents per liter, while gasoline will increase by eight and a half cents.

The Portuguese government took measures at the tax level that allowed these increase forecasts to be mitigated. Thanks to these fiscal changes, the impact on prices was eased by about three cents per liter.

Norway's sovereign fund wants to reduce exposure to US bonds by $80 billion

Norway's sovereign fund, which manages $2.3 trillion, proposes to significantly reduce its exposure to US Treasury bonds by approximately $80 billion. In a letter sent to the Norwegian Ministry of Finance, Norges Bank Investment Management recommended reducing the share of sovereign bonds in the fund's fixed income benchmark index from 70% to 50%, seeking other debt modalities to try to improve returns.
