A partnership between MetrôRio and Iguá Rio is offering free water distribution for the audience traveling to Rock City during Rock in Rio. The hydration action takes place at Jardim Oceânico/Barra da Tijuca station, which is an integration terminal with the BRT Expresso Service for the event. Free water distribution occurs during all show days at the station's mezzanine, from 2 PM to 4 PM.
Inside Rock City itself, the special hydration operation features 100 water carriers and misting fans that circulate from 9 AM to 5 PM, going from the entrance gates to the main stages to deliver water to attendees.
The weather forecast for this Friday indicates a maximum of 34 degrees, making the relief provided by the hydration action especially welcome for festival-goers. The event expects to welcome an audience of 100,000 people per day.
