The Madeira Regional Command of the PSP revealed that, between August 28 and September 3, 2026, a total of 73 traffic accidents occurred in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The report indicates that these accidents resulted in 21 minor injuries and two serious injuries. Despite the high number of accidents, no fatalities were recorded during this period. The PSP of Madeira was the entity responsible for providing this data to the population.
