Industries bear the cost of logistics unpredictability

oglobo4 September 2026 at 18:00

The logistics scenario in Brazil is facing a moment of accelerated transformation, with high-impact operational challenges. According to a study by the Instituto de Logística e Supply Chain (ILOS) released in early 2026, logistics costs in the country reached R$ 1.96 trillion in 2025, equivalent to 15.5% of national GDP. This value is driven by a historical infrastructure deficit that, according to a survey by the Conselho Nacional de Transportes (CNT), requires more than R$ 2 trillion in priority investments.

The impact of extreme weather events and operational instabilities has already caused financial losses to 70.6% of Brazilian transport companies in recent years. This scenario of tight margins and constant risks has forced supply chains to seek greater dynamism and preparedness to operate with agility.

Industries bear the cost of logistics unpredictability, and in this context of seeking efficiency and margin protection, the Logística do Futuro 2026 event takes place, an event that addresses these fundamental issues for the sector.
