Casa do Douro says Government support "is not ideal" but "is what's possible"

The Government approved this Friday, in the Council of Ministers, a support of around 12 million euros for Douro winegrowers who, this campaign, cannot market their agricultural production.

Casa do Douro reacted to the announcement, considering that the approved support "is not ideal", but that it represents "what's possible" in the current circumstances.

The support is specifically aimed at producers in the Douro region who face difficulties in commercializing their production during this agricultural campaign.

The measure was approved in the Council of Ministers, taking into account the difficult situation that winegrowers in the region face in marketing their products.
