The District Command for Fire and Emergency Operations of Faro issued a first alert dispatch for a rural fire in the area of Loulé, specifically in the parish of São Sebastião. The alert was registered with the nature of brushfire, indicating that the flames affected vegetation.
To combat the fire, 10 operatives and two ground resources were mobilized, with no air resources requested for this phase of the operation. The dispatch indicates that the fire is still ongoing, this being a first alert that may evolve as the situation develops.
