Rio de Janeiro's North Zone prepares a special and varied program for the September 7 holiday weekend, with options for different audiences. Among the highlights are activities such as samba circles, live music, capoeira, gastronomy, and popular history classes in bars in Tijuca.

Shopping Nova América, in Del Castilho, hosts between September 5 and 7 the GERAL – Football Fair, an event dedicated to football collectibles and culture. Admission is free.

The fair brings together historic jerseys from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, as well as pennants, sticker albums, stickers, and other items that are part of fans' emotional memories. The event promises to attract both collectors and football enthusiasts.

The complete program begins this Friday and offers alternatives for those who don't want to go to Rock in Rio during the long weekend.
