The 5th edition of the Pizza Festival is returning to Vila Nova de Cerveira between September 11th and 13th, at Praça Alto Minho. Over three days, the event promises to bring to the town music, entertainment, culture and gastronomy, with a scent of Italian roots.
This year, there will be room for innovation, as the event will introduce the sweet pizza, bringing a greater variety of offerings to the public. As for the competitive aspect, the Trofeo Pizzaiolo Alto Minho remains as usual, bringing together various professionals in the art. The big novelty this year is the creation of the Trofeo Pizzaiolo Amador, opening the competition to participation by the general public.
The event features the presence of renowned Italian chef Sérgio Crivelli, a fundamental piece in the festival, as it confirms and reinforces the festival's connection to the true Italian pizzaiolo tradition.
