TAP: Air France-KLM awaits with "expectation" new round of negotiations

The Air France-KLM group expressed today "expectation" regarding the new round of negotiations announced by the Portuguese Government for the purchase of 44.9% of TAP. The information was transmitted by the airline group itself.

Lufthansa, a German company, will be the direct competitor of Air France-KLM in this negotiation process for the stake in the Portuguese airline.

The Portuguese Government scheduled this new round of negotiations, which takes place in a context of partial privatization of TAP. The process involves the sale of a significant position in the state airline.

Air France-KLM demonstrates interest in strengthening its presence in the aviation sector through this operation, competing directly with Lufthansa for partial control of TAP.
