Specialists point out that attack on wedding in southern Iran was caused by direct fire of US ammunition

oglobo4 September 2026 at 16:19

An explosion hit a wedding ceremony in the city of Kuhestak, in southern Iran, last Tuesday, leaving four dead and 68 wounded. Weapons experts consulted by the Reuters agency, who analyzed photos and videos from the scene, point out that the explosion probably came from a direct impact of American ammunition — and not from shrapnel diverted from another target.

The attack is considered the most serious since a missile hit an Iranian elementary school in February, killing dozens of children and teachers. The incident reopens the debate about the civilian cost of the United States' war against Iran.

Residents of the region, mostly of Baloch ethnicity, say they feel that the deaths of civilians in their community receive less attention and that it is being placed on the route of the conflict.

Mystery animal caught on security cameras attacking residents of city in the USA

A wild animal classified as "exceptionally aggressive" has terrorized residents of Lebanon, in New Hampshire, in the United States. Since Sunday (8/30), at least three people were attacked in less than 48 hours in the Centerra Park area. Security cameras recorded the moment the animal lunged at a driver who was getting out of a moving van. Witnesses believe the creature could be a gray fox or a fisher cat, but police have not yet managed to capture it to identify the species. The main suspicion of authorities is that the animal is contaminated with the rabies virus, and the population has been advised to remain alert to their surroundings.
