Lost part of his leg during a reality show and now demands a multi-million compensation

SIC Notícias4 September 2026 at 15:37

A 22-year-old man is suing the producers of the reality show "Survivor Greece" after losing part of his left leg in an accident during filming. The participant is demanding 86 million euros in compensation for the damages suffered.

The young man claims the production put participants at risk during filming. He also accuses the producers of failing to provide adequate medical assistance after the accident that resulted in the partial amputation of his left leg.

This case arises at a time when the safety of participants in reality shows has been increasingly questioned. The multi-million compensation amount requested demonstrates the seriousness with which the young man views the situation and the potential failures in the program's organization.
