The National Association of Spirit Drink Companies will participate in Spirit of Life Week 2026, an event that takes place between September 7 and 10 in Brussels. This association represents the companies in the spirits sector in Portugal and will be responsible for marking the Portuguese presence at this international event.

At the event, Portugal will be represented by two traditional beverages: Rum da Madeira and Poncha. These beverages are produced in the autonomous region of Madeira and are recognized as products with unique characteristics and tradition rooted in local culture.

Spirit of Life Week is a spirits showcase that brings together producers and companies from the sector in different countries, providing a space for the dissemination and promotion of spirits at a European and international level. The Portuguese participation in this 2026 edition aims to promote these traditional products to a diverse audience.
