Liga Portugal and the law firm Almeida & Associados have signed a sponsorship contract establishing the firm as the "Official Legal Partner of EXPOFUT" and "Official Legal Partner of the Thinking Football Summit (TFS)". The agreement was formalized by Reinaldo Teixeira, President of Liga Portugal, and Gonçalo Almeida, Founding Partner of Almeida & Associados.
For Reinaldo Teixeira, this agreement represents another step in consolidating a relationship that has been affirmed through concrete projects and initiatives. The president of Liga Portugal highlighted that it is with reference partners who recognize the importance of contributing to the development and valorization of Football that they can continue to build impactful projects.
Gonçalo Almeida argued that the purpose of the partnership is to put the experience accumulated by the firm over more than 25 years at the service of the football industry, emphasizing the importance of the association with Liga Portugal and its main promotion and debate platforms. He also noted that this is a matter of credibility and positioning as a market-leading firm in the area of Sports Law.
The new agreement has a duration of three years, until the 2028/29 season, and reinforces an existing partnership between the two institutions, reflecting the commitment to a long-term relationship based on knowledge sharing, valuing the Football industry, and creating new cooperation opportunities.
