Two men were arrested by the Public Security Police in Caldas da Rainha on suspicion of stealing a vehicle in Sintra. The suspects were located through a tracking system that was installed in the stolen vehicle.
The operation that led to the arrest of the two men was carried out by the PSP of Caldas da Rainha. The theft reportedly occurred in the Sintra area, from where the vehicle was taken.
After the theft, the authorities managed to track the location of the vehicle through the installed GPS system, which allowed them to follow the suspects' route to Caldas da Rainha, where they were intercepted and arrested.
The two arrested men were placed in preventive detention after being presented to the competent authorities. The security forces continue to investigate the case to determine any possible involvement of the suspects in other crimes.
