Fuel prices in Portugal should rise next week, with simple diesel increasing 15 cents per liter and simple 95 gasoline rising 12 cents per liter. This is an update to the prices practiced at the country's fuel pumps.
With this increase, the average price of simple diesel should reach 2.169 euros per liter, while the average price of simple 95 gasoline should reach 2.142 euros per liter. These values represent a significant burden for consumers.
The variation in prices is due to fluctuations in the international oil market, which directly influence fuel prices in Portugal. The country imports most of the crude oil it uses, which makes prices vulnerable to global market conditions.
