Spain is the second country in the EU in Marie Curie funds: 17.2 million for 121 researchers

Spain positions itself as the second country in the European Union in the Marie Sklodowska-Curie COFUND 2026 call. This call is one of the main European funding initiatives for research and researcher mobility.

Five projects will be funded through this call, allowing the arrival of 121 researchers at Spanish universities and research centers. The projects represent a significant investment in the country's scientific sector.

The total funding awarded to Spain in this call amounts to 17.2 million euros. This value demonstrates the European commitment to scientific research in Spanish territory and the capacity of Spanish institutions to attract international talent.

The ship, 70 meters long with a capacity for 45 crew members, was built in 2007 at the MCíes shipyard.
