The show "Fado at the Piano" will take place at the Parque das Termas da Curia on Saturday, September 5, at 9:30 PM, as part of "Concertos no Parque," an initiative organized by the Municipality of Anadia. Entry is free.
The project is presented as an intimate show that combines fado with piano, under romantic and jazz influences. Fadista Leonor Duarte and pianist Daniel Delaunay intend to pay tribute to Portuguese national song, recovering the tradition of the late 19th century when fado was commonly accompanied by piano. The concept creates a smooth and engaging atmosphere that highlights the harmony between music and poetry.
With 11 years of existence, the project has already performed several concerts from north to south of the country, from auditoriums to city festivals. The "Concertos no Parque" aim to revitalize Curia during the summer season, contributing to the enhancement of the municipality's cultural offering and to attracting more visitors.
The thermal animation program includes other activities throughout the weekend, such as a Pinhole Camera Building workshop, a bamboo bicycle ride, and on Sunday, the initiative "A Bairrada em Prova," a wine and regional flavors tasting.
