A 34-year-old man, a Portuguese emigrant in Switzerland, died on Thursday, September 3, following a motorbike crash. The accident occurred during the man's holidays in his homeland, in Portugal, where he had traveled to visit family and friends.

The emigrant had only married a week before the accident. The news of the young Portuguese man's death generated great distress among the emigrant community in Switzerland, where he lived and worked.
