Simó (PSPV) officializes his mayoral candidacy: "Castelló deserves a government that listens and solves"

Rafa Simó, general secretary of PSPV-PSOE in Castelló, formalized this Friday his pre-candidacy to lead the socialist municipal list in the upcoming elections. The registration was made with the opening of the deadline within the party's primaries process.

Simó is the current leader of the socialist party in the city and thus seeks to repeat as the candidate for mayor of Castelló. The primaries process allows party members to choose the candidate who will represent PSPV-PSOE in the municipal elections.

In his candidacy declaration, Simó stated that "Castelló deserves a government that listens and solves", conveying his proposal for a municipal management closer to citizens and with greater capacity to respond to the city's problems.

The formalization of the pre-candidacy marks the beginning of the internal race within the socialist party to define who will be the official candidate for mayor in the upcoming local elections.
