Caixa begins offering installment Pix modality

Caixa Econômica Federal is offering individual clients the possibility to pay in installments for Pix transfers and payments. The new feature was announced on Thursday (the 3rd) and is available directly in the Caixa App, allowing clients to contract credit at the time of the transaction.

The modality allows values between R$ 300 and R$ 50,000, with a payment term of up to 12 months. Interest rates vary according to the client's relationship with the bank, and detailed conditions of the operation can be consulted in the app.

To use the service, it is necessary to update the CAIXA App to the latest version. The client can view the information before confirming the operation and complete the Pix transfer with just one authentication.

The public bank already offers other Pix-related tools, such as Pix Scheduling, Automatic Pix, and Pix via Google Pay proximity.
