Nuno Oliveira Santos chosen as general director of Devoteam

Devoteam chose Nuno Oliveira Santos as general director of its operations in Portugal, having also been appointed as one of the new vice-presidents of the company. The consulting firm announced this appointment in a statement on Friday, September 4.

As general director, Nuno Oliveira Santos will have the mission to develop the business and strengthen the capabilities of the Portuguese operation, get closer to clients and partners, and consolidate Portugal as a center of competencies and delivery of projects with international reach.

In the vice-president role, the goal is to define and execute the global strategy of the Microsoft pillar, in close coordination with the different geographies and areas of expertise of Devoteam.

Nuno Oliveira Santos previously joined the global management team of the Microsoft alliance at Avanade, where he led the strategic relationship with Microsoft in Europe and the Middle East, and also served as director of global partners of Microsoft for Western Europe. At Inetum, formerly Gfi group, he held executive leadership roles.
