The Territorial Command of Castelo Branco carried out, between 26 and 30 August 2026, a set of random inspection actions that resulted in the detention of 16 citizens.

The detainees were arrested for the practice of various crimes, including drug trafficking, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a legal license, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

The operation was carried out by the Territorial Command of Castelo Branco, a local police authority responsible for enforcement in the region.
