The Ministry of Finance unblocked the hiring of nurses in the National Health Service, allowing health units to proceed with the necessary recruitment.
The approval of this measure came following an alert issued by the Order of Nurses, which drew attention to the existence of approximately three thousand professionals available to work in the sector.
According to the Order of Nurses, despite there being nurses who are qualified and willing to join the NHS, several health units faced difficulties in completing the hirings.
With the unblocking by the Ministry of Finance, it is expected that the recruitment process will advance and that professionals can be integrated into the public health system.
