On September 2nd, the Superior Council of the Judiciary celebrated the swearing-in of 52 new trainee judges. The ceremony was led by the Vice-President and Judge Counselor Luís Azevedo Mendes, marking the official beginning of the internship phase during which the judges will be able to exercise their functions with autonomy and independence.
The event was attended by several figures from the legal field, including Board Members of the Superior Council of the Judiciary, the Director, Deputy Directors, Coordinators and Teaching Staff from the Judicial Studies Center. All participants highlighted the importance of this moment for strengthening the judicial system and the contribution that these new magistrates will bring to justice in the country.
