Cultural Alliance between Alentejo and Extremadura Takes Shape Through the University of Évora

The University of Évora is coordinating the project "A Fronteira da Cultura" (The Border of Culture), a cross-border cultural network that unites the Alentejo and Spanish Extremadura, already counting more than two dozen member institutions. Among the objectives are joint initiatives, circulation of artists and researchers, and securing European funding, also connecting Évora 2027 and Cáceres' candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2031.
