A 37-year-old motorcyclist was injured as a result of a collision between a motorcycle and a light vehicle, on Estrada da Eira do Serrado, in Santo António, Funchal. The accident occurred last night, around midnight.
The victim was assisted by an ambulance from the Funchal Professional Firefighters, with three crew members, who responded to the scene. The motorcyclist had pain in the lumbar and cervical areas.
After receiving first aid at the scene of the accident, the man was transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital for observation.
