Claudia Ohana says it would be 'amazing' to return to playing Natasha, from 'Vamp': 'Older and less naive'

In 1991, Claudia Ohana became an icon of Brazilian television by playing Natasha, the rock vampire protagonist of the soap opera "Vamp", aired by TV Globo. Thirty-five years later, the character was back in the spotlight in an advertising campaign and also appeared in the soap opera "Eta mundo melhor!", remaining alive in the public's imagination and in the actress's own mind.

Almost a decade after the musical "Vamp — The Musical", which brought back to the stage the partnership between Claudia Ohana and Ney Latorraca (1944-2024) playing Natasha and Count Vlad, the actress expressed interest in returning to the character. On her social media, Claudia stated she would accept returning to play her, this time in a spin-off focused exclusively on the rocker.

Claudia Ohana imagines what Natasha would be like today, if the character were to return. According to the actress, she would be a new woman, older and less naive, adapted to current times. The artist stated it would be "amazing" to revive the character and revealed that author Antônio Calmon, responsible for the original soap opera, has been talking about this possibility.
