Musical revisits Neguinho da Beija-Flor's trajectory, who gets emotional during rehearsal: 'Do I deserve all this?'

Neguinho da Beija-Flor may have even said goodbye to Sapucaí last year, or "passed the microphone to the new generations", as he says, but his commitments have tripled. The interpreter talked about this in an interview with GLOBO by phone.

Starting on the 11th, Neguinho's history can be seen, heard and felt on the stage of Teatro João Caetano, in Praça Tiradentes, with the show "O Neguinho da Beija-Flor — Musical". The musical is directed by Luiz Antonio Pilar and written by Aydano André Motta.

Actor Izak Dahora, described by Neguinho himself as "super approved" and "excellent", plays the lead role. Neguinho attended only one rehearsal of the show.

He explains why he didn't see it a second time: he wasn't able to stay there crying in front of everyone again.
